This policy explains what data Japa Mala Counter: Digital ("the app") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The app is a japa/mala counting and daily-devotional companion available on Android and iOS.
Your practice data — mala counts, streaks, daily goals, mantra preferences, and reminder settings — is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
You can use the app anonymously without creating an account. If you do create one, you can sign in with email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app, which permanently removes your account and sign-in data.
If you choose to use the optional AI Palm Reading feature, the photo you select is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reading. We do not store this photo, and it is used solely to produce your result. This feature is provided for entertainment and spiritual reflection purposes only and is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Daily reminders and festival alerts are scheduled entirely on your device using local notifications. We do not use push notifications and do not store your reminder times on any server.

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You can delete your account and associated sign-in data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. For any other data deletion or privacy request, contact us using the email below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
